While in the rest of the world (or at least most of it), cockroaches cause no other reaction but disgust, in China they’re highly appreciated. In fact, in the city of Xichang, they breed these insects on a farm in order to create a special healing potion, which is supposed to treat gastric discomfort. Funnily enough, the thought of billions of cockroaches in one place, as well as consuming a cockroach paste, could make many people sick to their stomach!
Imagine walking into a dark facility the size of two sports fields flooded with billions of cockroaches crawling on top of each other. Perhaps the only scenario that could be more terrifying is actually consuming the cockroach paste (although they advertise it as slightly sweet).
